I have a diverse background with experience in a variety of fields, each of which has contributed to my personal and professional development. I got my first job at 14, and still managed to earn awards in athletics and academics. Before graduating high school, I had earned my first manager position at a five-star resort. After graduating high school, I put myself through community college for a couple of years before deciding to join the workforce and go into business with my grandfather as a licensed Yacht Salesman. He taught me a lot about sales, business, and life. Much of my experience, in fact, is in sales and customer service. In the past 30 years, I have waited tables, tended bar, and done door-to-door sales, and done high-volume indoor sales.
I was a CNC machinist, making precision parts for the defense, semiconductor, and medical industries. Often having two jobs at a time, I also have over 15 years of professional security & executive protection experience. I’ve personally guarded celebrities and dignitaries, as well as lead teams to secure everything from small private venues to large-scale televised shows/events and concerts, etc. I’ve worked my way into upper management positions running small businesses as well as owning a successful small business myself. Currently, I am a Mortgage Loan Originator, nationally licensed in all 50 states. I chose to work for a company that specializes in VA mortgages, so every day I have the honor of working with Veterans and helping them achieve the dream of home ownership!
There is a common trend that runs through my work history. Most of my professional life has been dedicated to serving and helping others. Now I want to expand that trend into public service and public office. I’m a compassionate, hardworking guy, who will stand up to corruption in government, and will strive toward making our community better for everyone!
